A grieving widow claims that after her love-rat husband left the house with a longtime friend, she retaliated by leaving her wedding dress on their porch with a note wishing his new partner well and calling her “secondhand items.”
When Karen Dineen, 57, of Essex learned that her husband Terry Lovell, 53, was having an affair with Carol Mitchell, a friend she has known for 25 years, she claims she was upset.
The couple had been married for 19 years and engaged with Karen and Carol’s children as well as Carol’s then-husband and art instructor Carol.
Karen claims that she suspected Terry was having an affair for months before coming clean, and the marriage ended the moment she discovered the private messages on his phone.
Therefore, when she was clearing out their home and came upon the wedding dress she had worn to wed Terry, she decided to give it to her old friend.
Karen made a sarcastic remark, “Hi Carol, I know you love secondhand stuff, so assumed you might appreciate the dress I wore when I married your boyfriend.” As always, Karen xx.
The disgruntled wife drove the strapless cream dress to Carol’s house and discarded it on her porch after slipping the note through the front door.
He is the offspring of the devil, Karen added. He’s nothing more than trash. Karen, I don’t love you anymore; I don’t want to be with you, he never said. It would have been adequate. Even while that would have been stunning, this is shockinger. After she met Terry, they became her friends, and Carol’s husband started hanging out with them. It is awful.
She believes they are still a couple. He will progressively erode her.
When packing her home, she noticed the bridal gown and thought, “She can f***ing have this.” She was aware that after leaving a bridal gown and conveying that message through the door, there was nothing more they could do. She shook with excitement, just like a young child at Christmas.
She is not hiding anything. That bird had been her friend for 25 years, and they had been together for 19.
For four years, she has been unmarried. He was replaced by a chihuahua, who is more obedient, devoted, and clean. She felt that she was the beneficiary of the agreement. Win-win.
She doesn’t long for, adore, or miss him. As soon as she saw those text messages, everything was over. She could see that it was done.
If he had come to her and admitted that he no longer loved her and desired to stay with her, she would have had more respect for him.
Treason was committed. Although they were aware of it, her friends and neighbors never told her.
The mother of two claims that she first became suspicious of her husband’s infidelity after observing him getting ready in the evenings before finding excuses to return to work.
When Karen found invoices for two identical bottles of Terry’s perfume but only received one, along with a £700 “guilty” diamond ring for Christmas, she assumed Terry had another girlfriend.
As Terry was in the shower, Karen cracked the code to his phone, grabbed it, locked him inside the house, and then left to read the private messages.
Another warning indication, in Karen’s opinion, is that he changed the pin code for his phone.
Since Terry and Carol’s split in 2015, Karen has moved and made an effort to avoid them.
Karen paid for a deed poll to change her last name from “Lovell” to “Dineen,” which was her maiden name.
Carol had changed her phone number, according to Karen, which is why she hadn’t called after leaving the wedding gown.
Get even instead of being upset. She was preparing herself to see his true colors when he finally did. Carol is completely unaware of the situation she is in. The grass is always always always greener on the other side.
She did, however, alter her name. Karen Dineen has taken Karen Lovell’s seat. The cost was less than getting a divorce.
When Terry was questioned, he replied, “Ask [Karen] what she’s like to live with, and you could get a true understanding on why people cheat on her.” If you do manage to contact her, tell her to live a life. What percentage of people engage in extramarital affairs every day? People have affairs every day.
