Many actors and actresses have gained fame for their on-screen roles and personalities, but few have the same level of fan support as Tim Allen.
There isn’t much left to say about the 69-year-old actor/director, who has been at the top of Hollywood for decades, whether by critics or admirers.
Obviously, Tim has made his share of friends over the years; after all, someone who has worked with as many individuals as Tim has is sure to have a virtual who’s who of connections in his phone book.
But the guy claims there is one individual in the entertainment industry he trusts more than any other. Appropriately, it’s a male actor who portrayed a similar character in a classic children’s film.
Allen discussed his rapid connection with the much-loved Tom Hanks in a recent appearance on the Kelly Clarkson programme.
Many of my views and his are in opposition to each other. Allen has spoken highly of Hanks, praising his “heart and mind.”
Recent sightings of the A-listers together have sparked rumours that they are collaborating on a new project.
We’re like two elderly ladies because we sit nearly too close to each other at a booth, and we’ve been doing this since Toy Story 1,” Allen said of their biannual lunch outings.
It’s strange, that’s all.
