Magnificent creatures, the horse. They are completely free and wild, and their beauty is unparalleled. Perhaps the horse we’re going to present is the most stunning animal you’ve ever seen.

The Turkish horse in question has been hailed as “the most beautiful horse in the world” by industry insiders. He is of the Akhal-Teke breed, which is descended from the now-extinct ancient Turkoman horse.

Just 3,500 of these horses remain in the wild today.  Below, you can see a horse that seems to have been dipped in gold.

The Akhal-Teke is renowned for its stunning coat, which shimmers in the sun. The height of this thoroughbred ranges from 58 to 64 inches (147 to 163 cm).

“The horse from heaven” is the moniker the Chinese give to the animal. This fantastic creature has an unnaturally beautiful appearance.

Experts believe that the structure of its fur, which is intended to work as a light intensifier and to throw back the light rays, is responsible for the creature’s distinctive shine and shimmer.

The golden fur of the ‘Akhal-Teke’ is said to have evolved as a kind of desert camouflage for the animal at birth.

It is believed that this breed was initially domesticated in Achal, Turkmenistan, some 3,000 years ago, making it the oldest breed in the world.
