Lisa’s maid reportedly called 911 after she stopped responding and took her there. Her ex-husband Danny Keogh saw what was happening and rushed to start CPR until the paramedics came and took over. During their efforts to revive her, they reportedly administered epinephrine once.
Before arriving at the hospital, paramedics located her pulse, but her health deteriorated and she passed away.
She reportedly complained of abdominal discomfort for many hours before she went into cardiac arrest.

It took six months after Lisa Marie’s untimely death for authorities to determine what killed her. The Los Angeles County Coroner confirmed to TMZ that she passed away from a slight intestinal blockage.
The adhesions formed after the gastric bypass surgery led to the syndrome known as sequelae of small intestinal obstruction.
According to the toxicology results, Lisa Marie also possessed Buprenorphine and therapeutic amounts of the opiate Oxycodone, both of which are used to treat opioid addiction.
The news source claims that her residence showed no signs of drug use, and that the opioid prescriptions were related to a cosmetic operation she had months before her death.
According to reports, Lisa Marie also had a habit of overmedicating, taking her prescriptions many times since she often forgot she had already taken them.
