The Wisconsin news anchor who died by suicide at the age of 27 reportedly took her life after her fiancé called off their wedding.
As reported by DailyMail.com, Neena Pacholke took her life after Kyle Haase, the man she was set to marry, ended things with her just seven weeks before their would-be wedding day.
According to the paper, the breakup followed two years of arguments, heavy alcohol consumption, and alleged infidelity.
Pacholke even told a friend that when she came back to the home she shared with 38-year-old Haase, she discovered a pair of women's underwear that didn't belong to her.
The news anchor was found dead on Saturday, August 27, in the home she and Haase had recently purchased in Wausau, Wisconsin.
Police confirmed on Friday that she had ended her own life. A concerned friend had dialled 911 and urged authorities to carry out a welfare check, but by the time they arrived at the house, she was already dead.
Pacholke and Haase had completed on their house on July 27 – exactly a month before she died there.
"They were always arguing, and it seemed like Neena was more in love with Kyle that he was with her," one of Pacholke's friends told DailyMail.com.
Neena also had her suspicions that her partner, who was employed as a commercial sales manager at Imperial Industries, was cheating on her with an ex-lover.
One friend alleged that some weeks ago, Haase showed a friend a nude image that said ex-lover had sent him. He reportedly told the friend: "Look at her boobs and a**, I wish Neena's body looked like that."

"I don't even want to go home to Neena," he allegedly added. "The only thing I get from her is a tax break because she only makes $47,000 a year?"
The Police Department in Wausau, Wisconsin, is still investigating Pacholke's passing, with Captain Ben Graham telling E! News: "Wausau Police Department Officers were dispatched to a home on Wausau's southeast side Saturday morning to check the welfare of a woman who reportedly made suicidal statements.
"After receiving no answer at the door, officers entered the home and found Pacholke deceased."
