The supermodel was arrested for “suspicion Importation of G*nja and Importation of Utensils used for the consumption of g*nja,” E News reports. Custom officials allegedly found “g*nja and utensils used for the consumption of g*nja” in her luggage.
The twenty-eight-year-old was arrested with one of her friends, before being taken to the Prisoner Detention Center where they were then released on bail. On July 12, 2 days later, they were formally charged, where they plead guilty and were fined $1000 each.
“Gigi was traveling with m***juana purchased legally in NYC with a medical license,” her rep told E! News. “It has also been legal for medical use in Grand Cayman since 2017. Her record remains clear and she enjoyed the rest of her time on the island.”

From the looks of her Instagram, it appears that Hadid is relatively unbothered by her brush with the law, as she has been sharing a selection of snaps from her tropical getaway.
This includes a bikini shot where she debuted a brand new tattoo – one of a dragon on her upper thigh. She shared the photo 2 days after her appearance in court.
