Quenlin may have been upset by the purchase, but her audience wasn’t buying it or feeling sorry for her.
Since several of her followers have asked to see the six-figure sofa, the influencer’s evasive responses have fueled rumours that she is exaggerating.
It was suggested that she would try to deceive her audience in order to amass material and emotional resources.
Some have speculated that she has been attending acting workshops, while another speculated that she will win an Oscar for her portrayal.
But Quenlin, who regularly uploads lifestyle vlogs, often hits up major events like Revolve festivals and regularly parties with other A-list celebrities she claims to be close friends with.
The singer Lil Nas X is a frequent photo subject for the influencer, as is the DJ and producer Diplo.
In 2020, Quenlin announced her relationship with Diplo, then 41 years old. Following her success on TikTok, she said to her audience, “I live with Diplo right now, and he fully supports my endeavours.”
The influencer revealed that she and the DJ were pals when the DJ commented on Twitter that he had leased out one of his residences to her.
