One of the most adored figures in Hollywood in the past was Whoopi Goldberg. She worked on movies like “The Color Purple” and “Ghost” while she was at her peak. She performed stand-up for Jerry Lewis every year and had a recurrent role in Star Trek.
Then it took place. After she accepted a position on “The View,” things started to go south. So much so that she was recently chosen as “The Most Disliked Person in Hollywood” by her own peers.
Former Producer Joe Barron claimed, “They have a hard time finding guests to come on the show. They have to beg people who are in town filming because nobody who lives here will give them the time of day.”
The poll was first released in a personal diary distributed to Screen Actors Guild members, but it later became public online, where it now enjoys a notorious reputation. Overall, 82% of those polled said they would vote for Goldberg and cited her “nasty disposition” as the reason why.
The Conservative Committee of SAG received the poll and will vote on it. James Woods offered the motion, which was made by Scott Baio. The other six actors cast their votes unanimously, with Kevin Sorbo casting a ballot on behalf of the other five and Roseanne Barr shouting her support from wherever she’s hiding this week.
