When Martha Stewart, at age 92, appeared on the cover of Sports Illustrated’s Swimsuit edition in May of this year, the world took notice.

Recently, the astute entrepreneur and gourmet chef elaborated on her meticulous planning for the groundbreaking photograph.

During a recent fashion event in Las Vegas, Stewart said, “I [only] had two months to get ready,” as reported by The Hollywood Reporter. To sum up, I am a Pilates convert.

Stewart, who is 82 years old, has previously revealed the rigorous health program she adopted before to posing in revealing swimwear for the Sports Illustrated cover.

During a May interview on ‘Today,’ Stewart said, “I didn’t starve myself, but I didn’t eat any bread or pasta for a couple of months.

I started going to Pilates twice a week, and it was so good that I’ve kept up that schedule and I simply.

I try to have a clean lifestyle overall, with a nutritious food, regular exercise, and clean beauty routine.

Stewart mentioned the positive fan reaction to the “authentic” cover in her keynote address at the Las Vegas event.

“The response to it was really encouraging because it made women of all ages feel like, ‘If she can do it, then I can do it too,'” Stewart said.

Stewart said that she liked “most” of the shots used in the Sports Illustrated story, but that she wasn’t crazy about the ones in which she was wearing a red bikini. “They were just OK,” Stewart said.

Stewart was excited to participate in the picture session, although she did joke about one thing she would never do again. Midsection exposed. She remarked, “No amount of Pilates is going to help me do it again.

The photography for Stewart’s Sports Illustrated cover was scheduled for the end of January 2023, but she was invited to join in the shoot in November 2022.

That’s a request I haven’t gotten before. It was a big deal to be featured on the cover at my age. She said on ‘Today’, “I think I rose to the challenge.”

Stewart ignored criticism that she looked different because of rumors that she had plastic surgery before the filming.

She did give credit to the “good genes” she inherited from her mother, noting, “My mom was my role model.” She was still in a bikini after giving birth four times.

Amazingly, she still managed to have two more while still wearing a bikini afterward. They give me wonderful genes. Stewart’s stunning appearance clearly results from more than just genetics.
