Although the film “Triangle of Sadness” has yet to reach American movie theaters, the lead actress in the film has passed away ahead of the movie’s blockbuster release. Fortunately, she was alive to witness her film’s victory at the popular Cannes Film Festival, winning the award mentioned above.

I’m forever thankful for you for trusting me to be a part of your genius and my dear @sinaostlund. Can’t believe I had the best year making this during one of the hardest times in my life. Here are some pics of the year in Sweden and Greece during the pandemic. Forever and always our @triangleofsadness family.”
Dean was positioned to become a leading A-list actress ahead of her film’s release in the United States. However, she will never be given that chance because Dean was found dead on Monday, August 29, 2022, at just thirty-two years old.
Dean was from South Africa and had a successful career in indie films and as a model. She was also known to her loyal fans. A representative for the young actress told TMZ that she passed away on Monday following a bought with an “unexpected sudden illness” that took her life. A source told TMZ that she died in a hospital in New York City. Although the exact cause of the young actress’s death has not been reported, it can be assumed that it was a severe case, whatever it was.
In addition to her role in “Triangle of Sadness,” in which she starred across from Woody Harrelson. The film explores what happens after a cruise ship wrecks and its passengers are forced to survive on a deserted island after washing ashore.
The cast of the movie appeared at the Cannes Film Festival this past May. Critics at the festival welcomed the movie with open arms and set it up to have a successful release in theaters in the coming weeks.
In addition to her role in this upcoming blockbuster film, Charlbi also starred in the CW show “Black Lightning.” She played the role of an assassin-type anti-hero named Syonide, who has bulletproof skin.
She also appeared on several magazine covers, including Venice.
“So honored to be featured on the cover of Venice mag,” she wrote on Instagram. “I flew in to shoot this on the rainiest day. We only had one day to shoot. It was filled with unforeseen elements, doom but zero gloom. We made the best of it and had a wickedly fun time xxx. Thank you to the coolest team.”
According to a detailed report on TMZ following Dean’s passing, she was also listed as playing roles in the movies “Blood in the Water,” “Don’t Sleep,” “An Interview with God,” and “Porthole.”
Charlbi is survived by her fiancé, male model Luke Volker.
