Chastity Patterson, a young lady from Arkansas, texted her late father’s phone constantly over the last four.

Years, updating him on her life  since of it, she was able to deal with his passing since she knew he was always with her.

She would write excitedly about her accomplishments—her high school diploma, her acceptance to college, her recovery from cancer—in the notes she would send to her father if he were still alive.

But one day, after writing “Hey Dad, it’s ME,” she surprised everyone. The response she received was, “Tomorrow is going to be a tough day again!”

Apparently, the owner of the number was a guy who had lost his daughter in a car accident and was only kept alive by Chastity’s messages. He eagerly anticipated them each morning.

“Hello, Darling,” For the last four years, I have been receiving all of your messages without being your biological father. I eagerly anticipate both your morning and evening texts.

My name is Brad and in August of 2014, I lost my daughter in a vehicle accident. Your letters helped me get through it. It’s like receiving a word from God every time you text me, Brad added.

“I’m sorry you lost someone so dear to you, but I have heard you out and seen you mature and endure more.

Than anybody else  he added, “For years I have wanted to text you back but I didn’t want to break your heart.”

Your daily updates remind me that there is a God and that it wasn’t his fault that my little baby is gone, he told you.

“You are an extraordinary woman and I wish my daughter would have become the woman you are,” he added.

My little darling, He gave you to me, and I knew this day would come. You just have to keep going, day after day.

And let the light that God gave you shine. I wish you didn’t have to go through this, but know that you have my undying admiration.

It was unbelievable to Chastity. The letter moved her deeply, but it also astonished her. People couldn’t believe.

What they were reading when she shared the notes on Facebook. Her first update was shared over 200 thousand times on the first day.

She included the following in her post:- I’ve been updating my dad on my day through text message for the last four years.

That everything is well and I can finally let him rest? That came to me today. People were praising the post’s serendipity and it went viral.

Chastity revealed after her father’s death that he was not her biological father but a significant factor in her upbringing. He was the rock she could always rely on throughout her life.

He never missed a school dance or prom or one of my sports, and he did, in fact, have lengthy conversations with me about my language and behaviour.

I had to introduce my boyfriends to him (if I was permitted to date), and he’d give us the lengthy chat like any other regular parent would.

Because he took the time to love me and show me what happiness looks like, I have grieved with him, told him everything, and developed a strong sense of independence.

She said, “AND YES, Jason is my father, but he was also an inspiration to many young people in our community.”

“I wanted my loved ones to see that there is a God, and it may take four years, but he shows up right on time, so I shared my messages with them,” she said. as she put it.
