Unforeseen reptile occupants have transformed a lovely home into a nightmare for one Colorado resident. Amber Hall, a new homeowner in Centennial, was happy when she spotted a beautiful four-bedroom, two-bathroom property that seemed perfect for her family. Little did she know, hiding in the shadows were unpleasant guests of the slithering sort.

Hall’s frightening discovery occurred while she was unpacking her possessions. As her dog exhibited strange behavior, she examined the source of his anxiety, expecting to find a harmless spider. To her horror, she spotted two enormous snakes curled up near a door leading to the backyard. Alarmed, she promptly sought aid.

Since the initial encounter ten days ago, Hall has been troubled by a total of eleven snakes making appearances. Despite undertaking study and consulting experts, the identify of the serpents remains uncertain. Some suggest they could be an extraordinarily large variety of garter snakes, but their sheer size has confounded onlookers.

The intrusion of these reptiles has left Hall in a state of continual fear and anxiety. She now dreads opening boxes, fearing the likelihood of snakes hiding among her stuff. Determined to fix the situation, Hall engaged the services of a professional snake wrangler who specialized in compassionate snake removal. So yet, no damage has happened to any of the snakes, but their presence continues to haunt her.

Hall’s struggle has come at a hefty financial cost, as she has already spent nearly $1,000 on snake removal services. However, her quest for peace of mind may need more radical measures, such as ripping up concrete to locate the snake den. Until the problem is entirely settled, Hall’s ambition of enjoying her new home remains unattainable.

Denver7 went out to the realty company involved in the home acquisition, who expressed surprise at the snake infestation. They told Hall that if any earlier sightings had occurred, they would have revealed the information. This snake invasion is unparalleled in their experience.

Joe Sheftel, president of Blue Tick Pest and Wildlife Control, gave insight on the likely causes behind the snake presence. He stated that the presence of several snakes in such a short period indicated the likely existence of a subterranean snake den near the garage. As the temperature warms, snakes emerge from their hiding places, leading to an increase in sightings.

To avert such scenarios, Sheftel advocated fixing foundation cracks and other vulnerable spots to stop snakes from seeking shelter. He also underlined the necessity of pest inspections during the home-buying process, which many companies give free of charge.

With her unnerving snake encounter, Amber Hall serves as a cautionary story for prospective homebuyers. While home inspections normally focus on mechanical and structural aspects, it may be smart to undertake pest inspections to ensure a dwelling free from unwelcome reptilian roommates. With professional advice and preventive measures, homeowners can achieve piece of mind and keep their sanctuaries snake-free.
