An alert nursing home staff in New South Wales (NSW) called the police after spotting a strange situation involving an elderly woman with dementia and a knife.
Clare Nowland, who has remarkable 95-year-old dementia, is the subject of this distressing incident. She is currently in a serious condition as a result of what is being referred to as a “critical incident” at Yallambee Lodge, which is located close to the tranquil town of Cooma in New South Wales.
Unexpectedly, Clare was tasered by the police on a significant Wednesday as a result of the circumstances. There is currently an ongoing investigation to determine what happened after this shocking incident.
Notably, after failing to disarm Clare Nowland using more conventional methods, the police were forced to resort to using their tasers.
Following this tragic incident, Clare was transported right away to the Cooma District Hospital, where her current condition is being closely monitored and tracked.

A spokesman for Yasmin Catley, the honorable minister for the NSW Police, confirmed that the NSW Police had begun an investigation into a critical incident and said that given the gravity of the situation, appropriate action would be taken.
