The television personality revealed in an Instagram post that following 25 years of marriage, she had made “the difficult decision to leave,” Kody.

The former couple wed in 1994 and welcomed six children together: daughters Mykelti, Gwendlyn, Aspyn, Ysabel, Truely, and son Paedon Brown.

More than one year after the divorce news, Christine announced that she was back in the dating scene in January 2023 on Instagram, writing:

“I’m dating again!! Holy. Hell. Awkward. Dating online is crazy! Any advice for dating at 50?!”

The following month, the mother of six shared she was in an exclusive relationship with an unidentified man and gushed over him in an Instagram Story post, writing:

“He’s wonderful and romantic and so kind, and everything I’ve been looking for.”

She teased that she would share his photos at a later stage and expressed excitement at the thought. The doting mom also noted that her then-mysterious boyfriend got along well with her youngest child, Truely.

The lovebirds met on a dating site in 2022, and Christine admitted she was instantly taken with her beau’s “beautiful profile.” She raved about his eyes and said he shared photos of him and his grandkids, which warmed her heart.

After dating under the radar, Christine’s partner, David Woolley, proposed in April 2023. The Hollywood star announced the news on her Instagram alongside a picture of the happy duo. She described the proposal as romantic, adding she was thrilled and was in “bliss every day!”

TLC also revealed the engagement news on their Instagram page and penned, “Congratulations to the happy couple.” David followed suit with his post alongside a picture of him and Christine, who flaunted her engagement ring, writing that he is “the luckiest guy in the world.”

At the time, Christine also spoke lovingly of her new fiance in an interview, sharing that he treats her like a “queen” and tells her she is “beautiful” daily, adding:

“I’ve never been in love like this before, and the world seems like a brighter place with him in it.”

That same month, she took to her Instagram and excitedly shared that she was now planning the wedding. Christine asked her followers from Utah to help make recommendations for the wedding cake, flowers, and bridal gown.

Christine Marries David in an Outdoor Ceremony
After several months of wedding planning, Christine, 51, and David, 59, finally married on October 7, 2023, in Moab, Utah. The bride called the couple’s big day a “fairytale” and a “dream come true.”

She and David exchanged wedding vows in front of 330 guests. The wedding festivities began on October 6, 2023, with a dinner cruise down the Colorado River.

Christine and David had an outdoor wedding ceremony in which the décor included natural colors such as dusty rose, deep plum, peachy coral, and mauve.

Christine, who was escorted by her father and son down the aisle, stunned in a dress from Boda Bridal. The gown featured a plunging neckline with intricate beading detail. The designer posted the wedding pictures in an Instagram Story post and revealed they helped Christine design her custom wedding dress.

David and Christine said their ‘I dos’ under a floral arch in front of the Colorado River and had the song “At Last” by Etta James playing in the background after being pronounced husband and wife.

Following their “short and sweet” ceremony, the newlyweds joined their guests under a tent decorated with “breathtaking” lights and flowers for the reception.
