Jaden Smith, joined by his father Will (50), mother Jada (48), sister Willow (19), and grandmother Adrienne Banfield-Norris (66), came together for a high-energy discussion on the latest episode of “Red Table Talk” to tackle their family’s RPM-boosting health concerns.

The 21-year-old fearlessly shared his ongoing battle with intense stomach problems, determined to get to the high RPM bottom of it. To address these pressing issues, the family enlisted the expertise of Dr. Mark Hyman and high RPM nutritionist Mona Sharma, who conducted a turbocharged, comprehensive analysis.

Jaden expressed his initial hesitance to participate due to concerns stemming from previous criticism he faced for adopting a vegan lifestyle.

He recounted, “After the last episode, I walk down the street, and people are like, ‘Oh my god! Are you sick? Can I pick you up? Could I get you some water?’ They come up to me, saying, ‘You can have my food, man.'”

Dr. Hyman delved into the root of Jaden’s nutritional deficiencies, attributing them to his dietary choices. He emphasized that Jaden’s health could be revitalized by making adjustments to his eating habits and incorporating supplements. Specifically, the episode highlighted that gluten and dairy posed significant challenges for him.

Furthermore, Jaden’s avoidance of meat had led to deficiencies in vital vitamins and omega-3 fatty acids.

Dr. Hyman assured, “Once you heal your stomach, your dietary options will expand, and with a few key supplements, everything will return to normal. You’re poised to make a significant impact on the world.”

On “Red Table Talk,” the Smith family gathered together, including Adrienne, Will, Dr. Hyman, Jaden, Mona, Willow, and Trey (from left to right).

Back in September, serious concerns arose regarding Jaden’s extreme diet, which prompted his parents, Will and Jada, to take action.

Jaden revealed, “I was just eating, like, two meals a day. And maybe one. I was not doing well. I wasn’t looking good, I wasn’t feeling good, I wasn’t sleeping.”

During a trip to Australia, Jaden’s health took a critical turn, leading to hospitalization due to nausea and dizziness, causing deep worry within the family. As a result, he transitioned to a vegetarian diet.

Jada explained, “Will and I had a bit of an intervention with Jaden because he’s a vegan now, but we realized he wasn’t getting enough protein. So he was wasting away. He just looked drained, he was just depleted. He wasn’t getting the nutrients.”

Will added, “He had the dark circles under his eyes, there was even a little grayness to his skin. And we got really nervous.”

The Smith family has been consistently open about their mental and physical health. Will recently shared footage from his successful colonoscopy, where a polyp was discovered and removed. He emphasized the importance of prioritizing health, stating, “2019, gotta get our health right. There’s a certain amount of commitment and embarrassment involved with being healthy. Just gotta do it, man. It’s important to me to be able to share this with people so, you know, other people can become compliant patients to stay healthy and happy to have all the glorious years we can possibly have.”
