Paulina Porizkova was born in 1965 and began her modeling career only 15 years later.
She has graced the covers of various major magazines and has progressively risen to recognition in the modeling world.
She appeared in a variety of movies, TV episodes, and music videos, in addition to periodicals.
She’s recently gained a reputation for being candid about aging, melancholy, and loss, among other things.
Despite the criticism, she has remained completely immersed in the modeling industry at the age of 57 and with over 40 years of expertise. She’s still posting images of herself in bikinis.
“I am a 57-year-old woman, and it seems to mean, in society, when you go into your middle age, you sort of lose your license to be able to show up in bikinis too.”
Porizkova frequently discusses the negative feedback she gets just for advertising herself as a model at her age. She has been referred to as “a desperate grandma” or “too old to be doing this,” but she never takes it personally and defends herself.
She was formerly married for 28 years to Ric Ocasek, the late frontman of the legendary rock group The Cars. The former supermodel was open about the ups and downs the marriage experienced.
She claimed that the two of them had effectively grown apart in the months before his death.
Following his death, she remarked in an interview, “I just noticed that we shared less and less, and we communicated less, and then he sort of stopped desiring me.”
In describing her doubts at the time, she said, “Since I was hitting my late 40s and early 50s, I think I figured, maybe he doesn’t fancy me because I’m getting older.”
She still strives to preserve Ocasek’s recollection of their enjoyable times together, though.
She now fervently supports ladies growing older naturally without undergoing aging-reverse surgery.
She wishes more women would embrace their aging bodies and decide to embrace their inherent attractiveness. “My desire is to be an unaltered older woman,” she declared.
She frequently expresses admiration for her aging looks, saying, “What I like about my face now at 57, it’s that it’s like a really good novel of the history of my life, like it’s all written into my face.”
She always emphasizes the value of letting oneself age and how it is a lovely natural process to other older women and even younger ones.
She said, “We have to make older cool, I’m really trying, but we need more women to sort of embrace age and keep trumpeting it out there, going ’look at what I’m doing at my age.’”
Even at this age, she is stunning!
