Please always pay attention even when carrying out household cleaning . Do you know that there are some detergents that you should never mix ? Here’s what you risk if you do.

PAY ATTENTION TO THE PRODUCTS USED FOR HOUSEHOLD CLEANING

If we want to have a clean and shiny home we most often rely on advertised products that promise efficient results . These are detergents or detergents of which we often ignore the substances or ingredients that compose them.

We sometimes simply rely on the name or brand without thinking that we can clean the house simply using natural products . Did you know, for example, that apple cider vinegar is a very powerful detergent?

With it you can make shower glass and bathroom sinks shine . Baking soda , when mixed with water, will instead create an incredible solution for polishing the dull and stained hob in your kitchen.

A common mistake, however, that many people make is another. Many do not simply simply purchase toxic or harmful products but also mix multiple detergents together . This is a problem. Here’s why you should never do it.

Do Not Mix These Household Detergents

We all like to always have a clean, tidy and fragrant home. To disinfect, polish and make every surface shine, we purchase many products every day that promise to give incredible results.

You will certainly know that different detergents need to be used depending on what we need to clean : floors, glass or the kitchen hob require different products.

The majority of those on the market are made with chemical components and toxic substances that can be very dangerous. A mistake that many people make is this: improperly mixing different detergents for the home in the belief that they will clean each surface better.

Nothing could be more wrong. According to some studies, some detergents contain active ingredients which, if combined with others, can only cause damage . Bleach is an example. Made from sodium hypochlorite , you should never combine it with muriatic acid.

These two detergents together generate gases that are harmful if inhaled, especially for the respiratory tract. Again, never mix bleach with ethyl alcohol : the fumes that the combination of these two products generate are so dangerous that they act as an anaesthetic.

You should not mix hydrochloric acid with caustic soda either : hot gases come out that cause watery eyes, coughing and breathing problems. The combination of these ingredients that we have mentioned gives rise to extremely dangerous fumes for the human body . But that is not all.

If the ingredients are mixed, they make up these products can burn plastic or containers that contain them . It is therefore necessary not only to avoid mixing different detergents at home but also to store them properly.

For example, bleach or muriatic acid should never be exposed to sunlight but stored away from any form of heat. Another specification: you should never put them in contact with metals because being corrosive they can destroy them.

This is what happens when you mix these household detergents. Almost everyone does it but it’s really very wrong. Avoid this mistake and try to replace toxic or chemical cleaners with natural products.
