She was diagnosed with AIDS. “I went from being an excellent employee at the bank who never missed a day to someone who was missing two or three days a week,” said in a YouTube interview with Anthony Padilla.

The then 40-year-old Medusa decided to quit her job at the bank. She realized she was tired of being a human, and her dream was to become a gender-neutral dragon. In fact, this would be the first of its kind to exist on planet earth. Fast forward to now, the 56-year-old has been dubbed the “dragon lady” thanks to some extensive body modification surgeries.

Medusa’s diagnosis of AIDS shocked her world. She realized how short life is, and wanted to live it with her true essence shine. Furthermore, she did not want to die with a human appearance. Medusa explained that her reasons for the extensive body modification surgeries was because she “didn’t want to die looking human because being human has been such a negative part of life.”

Her only regrets

While Medusa is now living her best reptilian life, she says she has paid the price in terms of her connection with her son. Before her body modification transformation, she already had gone some time without much contact from him. “At that time when I started my transformation, my son had already turned 16, and he rejected me at that point in my life,” she said in the YouTube interview.

Medusa then explained that she was doing the body modifications for her son. She said she is doing it “My son hasn’t been in my life for seven years, I’m hoping that he is at least watching me on the internet because the reason I’m out there in such a big way is for him. So that he can see what his dad’s doing, his weird-looking, strange, used to be a man, is now a woman, is now a reptilian, dad.”

The body modification dragon lady concluded with a message intended for her son. She spoke about the mistakes she made in her past, and how she is accountable for all of them. “I would like to say first of all, ‘Son, I’m sorry for the mistakes that I’ve made in life,” said Medusa. “I own up to all of them, I don’t make excuses for any of them, but it’s those very mistakes that have made me the awesome person that I am now. I’m hoping that you’ll give me the chance at some point in your life, and know that I’m always here waiting with wings open for you’.”
