The family of Camila Roxana Martinez Mendoza, 3, was in this circumstance. When they had a terrifying encounter that caused them to doubt their beliefs, their lives took a tragic turn.

It all began when Camila fell ill on a crucial day in August. She was vomiting and experiencing stomach pain in addition to a high fever, so her worried mother, Mary Jane Mendoza, decided to take her to the doctor.

They visited a pediatrician in their hometown of Villa de Ramos, but the doctor deemed Camila’s condition to be serious and in need of specialized care. Mary Jane accompanied Camila to San Luis Potosi in central Mexico because she was committed to getting her daughter the best treatment.

When they got to the Salinas de Hidalgo Basic Community Hospital, the medical staff took care of Camila’s situation. An oximeter was used to check her oxygen saturation while her lower body was wrapped in a cool towel.

In hopes that it would solve Camila’s issues, the doctor suggested paracetamol. Her condition had been deteriorating for several hours when her family decided to get a second opinion.

The next doctor advised Camila to eat more fruit and gave her another prescription. However, this tactic also failed. In a desperate attempt to get advice, they turned to a different doctor, who strongly advised hospital admission.

Camila received the treatment and assistance she required from medical professionals that evening, around nine or ten, before being transported to the hospital in Salinas.

Although they tried to locate Camila’s tiny veins in order to give her oxygen and intravenous therapy, the medical team was unsuccessful.
A nurse struggled for some time before successfully inserting the IV.

After 10 minutes, though, it was over, and Camila was given some sleep aid. The kid was taken away from the distraught mother and placed in a different room before she could do anything but give him over to the medical staff.

When Mary Jane discovered that her cherished daughter had succumbed to dehydration a short while later, she was heartbroken. The following day, a celebration of Camila’s life and an opportunity for friends and family to grieve with them were planned by the family.

Amazingly, Camila’s grandmother noticed the coffin’s glass window locking during the funeral. Despite her desire to see her beloved granddaughter once more, family members forbade her from raising the lid because they believed it to be a hallucination.

But as she focused, she noticed Camila’s eyelids blinking, and to everyone’s surprise, they discovered a weak heartbeat. Camila was present!

As soon as possible, Salinas’ medical staff returned Camila to the hospital, where they made every effort to save her. Despite their best efforts, they were unable to alter the unfortunate course of events.

Testing revealed cerebral edema as the underlying cause, demonstrating that the issue had become too serious. My baby girl had reached that point, the distraught mother cried.

We are upset because my child was happy, got along with everyone, and didn’t target anyone in particular. She was adored by many people on the property, and they helped us.

The second death certificate listed dehydration along with cerebral edema and metabolic failure, in contrast to the first one’s single mention of the condition, which was dehydration.

As a result of the theft, Camila’s kindergarten start this week will not take place as planned. Mary Jane, who is extremely upset, fervently seeks justice, declaring, “I want justice to be done, that’s all. ”.

She doesn’t have anything against the doctors who worked so hard to save her daughter, but she begs for a change in the medical staff to prevent tragedies like this from happening again.

The San Luis Potosi state attorney general, Jose Luis Ruiz, has launched an investigation into the incident, and an autopsy on Camila is currently being carried out. The grieving parents sincerely appeal to the government for justice in the hopes of learning the truth and finding solace.

In the wake of this unfathomable loss, we can only express to the Mendoza family our sincere condolences. May the child, Camila, find eternal peace, and may her family get the solace and justice they so richly deserve.
