He and his family one day ventured into an old shoe store that had been closed for 40 years, the owners had been his great-great-grandparents. But they didn’t expect to find that! It was as if he had traveled back in time in the 1960s.
First, they found rows and rows of shoe boxes, arranged everywhere on the shelves. It appears that the store was abandoned behind a metal gate after this Reddit user’s grandmother became ill.
In addition to shoes, they also found a wood-burning oven that used to keep the guest rooms warm. The shoes were in impeccable condition and the styles were similar to those worn today.
