Generally, the hope that destiny will bring us together with the right person is the last thing to be lost. But for many singles, things get complicated as the years go by. And in some cases, there are family members or friends who will try to help you find the “one”. Against all odds, some of them manage to create couples, proving that they were sent by Cupid himself.

I have been married for two and a half years. My husband and I had an arranged marriage, something very normal in my family and environment. We met and dated for 2 months, and I realized he was a nice guy, respectful of his family, and pretty much everything I was looking for. After dating for 3 months, we got married.

I got pregnant immediately; we didn’t plan it, but we both were happy. When he found out I was pregnant, he took a 3-year leave of absence. When he found out I was pregnant took a leave from his job for 3 years since it’s the company that his dad owns, he would always make me a bath, cook clean, and always sit me down to talk about how I felt and what I wanted or needed.

I have been at home all this time because I took a break from work when I found out I was pregnant. My daughter is now 7 months old and the most beautiful thing ever. We both adore her, and our family does too.

We were invited to a party at my in-laws’ house. We were all there: my parents, my 5 siblings, and my husband’s 7 siblings. At one point, we were in the backyard. The grandparents were inside, and my husband went to get something to eat and drink while I happily watched my daughter play with her uncles.

I noticed my husband took a while to return, so I checked on him. Then I overheard our parents asking him how he felt about our relationship. He started crying and told them he had no words to describe how happy he felt. He told them that every morning when he wakes up and sees our baby and me, he can’t help but cry and imagine life without us, and he thanked them for bringing us together.

I couldn’t help but cry; he’s an amazing guy. Even motherhood has been easy for me since he always helps me with the baby at night. I really love him. At the time, I didn’t want him to know that I overheard the conversation, but I wanted to share how happy I am with my life.

I planned a surprise for my husband thanks to Redditor’s advice. I wanted to tell him how much I loved him, because I realized I hadn’t really told him. I got his sisters to help me keep him outside with my baby; I made his favorite food, put up balloons that said I loved him and decorated the house. I am a shy person, but from now on, I will try to show him how much I love him more often.

Some relationships may very well come straight out of a fairytale. We actually have a few articles to prove it: 12 and 3. On the other hand, for people who haven’t been lucky enough to find their soul mate, we also have some tips to help them sort things out (1 and 2).
