It was a dream come true for Cliff and Kali Scott to have twins. However, their daughters Annie and Effie made an extraordinary entrance.
Despite being aware of the difficulties that come with having two children, the couple was excited to prepare for their twins. But destiny had other plans. A week and a half ahead of schedule, their small bundles of joy decided to make an unexpected appearance.
This delivery was exceptionally timely, even if the early arrival was unexpected. Annie Jo was born at Texas Hospital in Denton on New Year’s Eve, 2022, at 11:55 p.m., making her the last baby born there. Effie Rose, the hospital’s first baby of 2023, officially joined the festivities at 12:01 a.m., barely minutes later.
The happy mother, Kali, was unable to suppress her joy. She said, “I think it’s hilarious and super fun.” The family was delighted by this unorthodox arrival, as were the medical personnel who observed the delivery and the beginning of a new year.
After the story went viral, Kali revealed that they had joked about the babies possibly arriving around the holidays. “It proved to be more feasible than we had anticipated,” the woman added.
Annie and Effie are already known for their odd birthdays. “We always want to make sure they know they are special and have their personalities,” she says.
While raising distinct identities is a difficulty for many parents of twins, for Kali and Cliff, their girls’ natural beginning is this turn of events that allows them to embrace their individuality.
Globally, people’s hearts have been moved by the tale of Annie and Effie. Annie Jo and Effie Rose Scott, their girls, are thrilled to be introduced together with their parents, Cliff and Kali, who are thrilled to share this amazing trip!
