MUSIC sign Emily Goldberg, who used to date Avicii, has died. She was 34 years old.
Emily passed away on April 3 in La Jolla, California, from a pulmonary embolism. This was six years after the loss of the Wake Me Up star.
Emily had written a touching social media post last year about how happy she was to be “cancer-free.”
The woman’s family said she was “a lively and one-of-a-kind person who had many adventures in her all too brief life.”
Emily put a picture of herself giving the thumbs up in the hospital on Instagram last year.
“I lived b****,” she wrote under the picture. I’ve had cancer for a year now. Yes, I no longer have cancer.
Emily’s parents, Julie and Sam Goldberg of La Jolla, and her brother Aaron Goldberg of Chicago, Illinois, will miss her.
Eighteen months ago, on April 20, 2018, the Swedish music star Avicii passed away.
His real name was Tim Bergling, and Avicii was the name of several number one electronic dance music (EDM) songs.
Emily wrote a sad tribute to Avicii on Instagram after he died.
“Babe, don’t give up on us,” she said. Pick me, and I’ll love you.
“Those are the words to a song that Tim wrote for me.” I wish I had lived up to them.
I told him everything and he was my best friend for the two years we were together.
“I can’t look at Bear now because I know I’ll never see his face again.”
“I’m still putting my thoughts together. Thanks for all the nice texts and words.
“Please wake me up when it’s over. I don’t want it to be real.” “Avicii, rest in peace.”
