Robyn Bernard, an actress, died this week. She was one of Greater Hospital’s early stars.

While Robyn was 64 years old, she had played Terry Brock on General Hospital for about six years in the 1980s.

She was discovered in San Jacinto, California, as reported by TMZ.

Tuesday, authorities were called to investigate a death, and Robyn’s fingerprints were used to identify her.

A coroner from Riverside County is scheduled to do an autopsy on Wednesday, but no cause of death has been given.

There will be a toxicology report in a few weeks.

According to a report from the Riverside County Coroner, she died in an open field behind a business at 4 a.m.

Robertyn was born in Gladewater, Texas, on May 26, 1959. Her first role was in the movie Diva in 1981.

Prior to her big break, she was on Whiz Kids in 1983, The Facts of Life in 1984, and a number of other shows.

The actress was in 145 episodes of General Hospital from 1984 to 1990, according to IMDB.

In 2002, she played a psychologist in Voices from the High School, showing her most recent work.

Crystal Bernard, her 62-year-old sister, is also an actress.

Crystal is famous for her roles as K.C. Cunningham on Happy Days, Helen Chappel-Hackett on Wings, and Amy on It’s a Living.

On social media, General Hospital fans were sad about the death of the beloved star.

The third person wrote with a crying emoji, “Robyn Bernard, who played Bobbie’s stepdaughter Terry Brock, has died at age 64.”

It was fun to be with her at the #GH party. “Rest in peace, Robyn Bernard,” noted a huge fan.

Five on X, which used to be called Twitter, said, “RIP #RobynBernard, who played #Terry from 1984 to 1990.” I remember perfectly her character and the O’Connell brothers.

GeneralHospital Lucy was also introduced around this time, if I remember correctly. I like her all the time.

BACK TO LOSSING GH AGAIN
Supporters of General Hospital were saddened when legendary actress Jacklyn Zeman died in May of that year.

When the legendary soap opera star died at age 70, she was remembered as a “icon” by both her fans and her co-stars who were sad.

Sadly, Jacklyn died on May 10, 2023, after a long battle with cancer, according to her family.

General Hospital’s executive producer, Frank Valentini, wrote on Twitter that she had died.

“I am heartbroken to announce the passing of our beloved Jackie Zeman,” the touching post said.

“Just like her character, the legendary Bobbie Spencer, she was a bright light and true professional that brought so much positive energy with her to work.”

“We will miss Jackie a lot, but her nice attitude will live on in our cast and crew forever.”

Wishing deepest sympathy to her family, friends, and loved ones, especially her daughters Cassidy and Lacey. #GH.””

Members of the show and her co-stars have also paid tribute to the actress who died.

According to People, Australian actor and musician Rick Springfield, who played Dr. Noah Drake, is “incredibly stunned and broken-hearted to hear of Jackie’s passing.”
