A MATERNITY influencer who helped tens of thousands of moms has died, just days after having emergency surgery.
There were more than 70,000 people who followed Taina Madeiros on Instagram. She died in Brazil on Wednesday. Thirty-four.
There is still no official word on what killed her, but her friends say she had an ectopic pregnancy last week.
In a recent post, she asked her fans to pray for her to get better.
When a fertilized egg implants itself outside the womb, usually in one of the Fallopian tubes, this is called an ectopic pregnancy.
If an egg gets stuck in one of the tubes, the pregnancy can’t happen, and the egg has to be taken out during surgery.
Taina was a trained nurse who spread breastfeeding tips on the popular Instagram account amormama.
She leaves behind a husband and a daughter who is five years old.
She was laid to rest on Thursday in Parnamirim, which is in the northeast of Brazil.
In a recent post, Taina asked her fans to pray for her as she gets better.
“Pray for my healing. I need to take care of myself now,” she said.
“But I hope to be able to take care of you soon.”
People are saying nice things about the much-loved maternity mentor Taina, even though she never got better.
“God has called our Tai home,” the post that told people about her death said.
“Wife, mom, daughter, friend, business owner, and wife.” A woman with a lot of faith, timeless values, and kindness that knows no limits.
“She touched many people’s lives. Her eyes were like the sea; they saw beyond and were filled with compassion.”
“Her bright smile, warm embrace, and love will always be the best things we remember about her.”
Fans said that she would be remembered for helping so many families.
Someone said, “I asked you last week: do you know how many families you’ve helped?”
“And you said, ‘I’ve lost track, but it’s over 2,000!'”
“Your heart wasn’t in the numbers; it was in the commitment!” We saw how much love and commitment they had!
“Tai, you were born to make a difference! You did it! We will always remember how kind you were!”
