After a four-day trip to Colombia, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle brought their two kids, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, back to the United States. Regretfully, it seems that the youthful prince and princess were thrust into the press for an unsatisfactory purpose.

The children of Harry and Meghan have not interacted with the royal side of their family at all, and it is uncertain when or if this will change. But it’s evident that King Charles, their grandfather, is eager to meet his grandchildren who live in the United States, and he may not be alone.

Therefore, it should come as no surprise that questions have been raised about Harry and Meghan’s decisions about their children. As a matter of fact, the Sussexes are currently facing accusations that they are “trapping” their kids by keeping them apart from one side of the family.

Though Lilibet’s parents have made it apparent they don’t want anything to do with the monarchy, Lilibet has stronger ties to the Royal Family than one may imagine. Although Lilibet was named after her late great-grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, there was a particularly painful moment when Lilibet was christened and given her royal title. It seemed that Harry and Meghan picked a christening date that was more significant than anyone could have predicted.

Years ago, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle moved to California in search of a simpler life. Many thought that the Sussexes were beginning to gradually step away from their public lives as they moved into their multimillion-dollar estate in Montecito, partly because of their children, Archie and Lilibet.

But that wasn’t the only significance associated with that particular date. It was also exactly six months after Lilibet’s great-grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, passed away, as royal aficionados swiftly noticed. Nevertheless, Harry and Meghan had previously selected a significant announcement date for Lilibet’s baptism.

The news that Meghan was expecting Lilibet was first revealed by the Sussexes on Valentine’s Day of 2021. It’s interesting to note that Princess Diana revealed her pregnancy to Harry on the same day. The couple claims that after they had disclosed Lilibet’s pregnancy, they were only made aware of the coincidence.

I was taken aback. We were clueless. Harry stated in their Netflix series that “it was just a coincidence, or maybe not a coincidence.” Harry and Meghan have been careful to limit their kids’ media exposure and refrain from posting images of them online. Meanwhile, the Duchess made the decision to reveal more about her daughter during the Sussexes’ four-day tour of Colombia last week. Meghan stated in a speech that she wants to inspire Lilibet to speak up and serve as an example for her.

Meghan remarked, “At three, she has found her voice.” “And we are so proud of that because that is how we, as I was saying, create the conditions in which there is a ripple effect of young girls and young women knowing that if someone else is encouraging them to use their voice and be heard, that’s what they’re going to do and they’re going to create a very different environment than so many of us grew up in where our voices were meant to be smaller.”
