Elon Musk has demanded the release of the Jeffrey Epstein files weeks after accusing Donald Trump of being involved.
Musk and Trump have been going through a very public break up with the Tesla CEO ranting on X only a few weeks ago claiming that Trump ‘is in the Epstein files’.
“That is the real reason they have not been made public,” he wrote last month, adding “Mark this post for the future. The truth will come out.”
However, after a few days, the post was removed and Musk changed the topic to the results of his dr*g test after Trump accused the tech billionaire of being a ‘big time addict’.
Trump was publicly friends with Epstein for years before they allegedly had a falling out in the early 2000s. POTUS has always denied any involvement in criminal acts relating to the case.
Trump posted comments made by Epstein’s lawyer, David Schoen: “I was hired to lead Jeffrey Epstein’s defence as his criminal lawyer 9 days before he died.
“He sought my advice for months before that. I can say authoritatively, unequivocally, and definitively that he had no information to hurt President Trump. I specifically asked him!”
VP JD Vance also reacted to Musk’s claim on a podcast, sharing it’s ‘totally BS’ and that Trump ‘didn’t do anything wrong with Epstein’.
Now, Musk has responded to MAGA activist Scott Presler who wrote on X: “Release the unredacted Epstein files.” with a simple “Yes” and Presler later replied “Agree.”
Trump also previously warned Musk that he may have to ‘go back to South Africa’; “Elon may get more subsidy than any human being in history, by far, and without subsidies, Elon would probably have to close up shop and head back home to South Africa,”.
