Americans Stunned After Seeing How Much Trump’s First 100 Days Cost Compared To Last Year

Americans have been left stunned after seeing how much Donald Trump’s first 100 days have cost compare to the same 100 days last year.

Despite his promised to cut costs, Trump has spent an incredible amount of money in the first 100 days back in the White House.

The 78-year-old has signed numerous executive orders, including one to rename the Gulf of Mexico to the Gulf of America and one one to get rid of the Department of Education.

Trump then hired Elon Musk to head the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) in order to cut needles government spending.

DOGE claims to have saved over $170 billion thanks to multiple government cuts which they claim is a ‘combination of asset sales, contract/lease cancellations and renegotiations, fraud and improper payment deletion, grant cancellations, interest savings, programmatic changes, regulatory savings, and workforce reductions’. Numbers which have not been verified.

CBS News has now revealed that Trump’s administration has spent $220 billion more in the first 100 days back in office, compared to Biden’s first 100 days last year.

They also discovered that Trump has spent more now than any other president in the last 10 years – with the only exception being in 2021, during the global pandemic.

A large portion of the cash has been spent through Medicare and social security benefit payments, which together have seen an increase of $37 billion compared to the same time frame with Biden last year.

We have also seen an increase in investments in Treasury Securities, Department of Defense, Veterans Affairs and Agriculture.

People online have been left shocked by this comparison. One person wrote: “So much for the government spending cuts.”
