Donald J. Trump has reportedly issued a serious military order following comments made by Russian official Dmitry Medvedev. According to a post circulating on social media, the former U.S. President has directed two nuclear submarines to be positioned in “appropriate regions” as a direct response to Medvedev’s inflammatory rhetoric.
Medvedev, the former President of Russia and current Deputy Chairman of Russia’s Security Council, allegedly made threatening remarks prompting Trump’s statement. Trump warned that “words are very important, and can often lead to unintended consequences.”
He concluded by hoping “this will not be one of those instances.”
