According to reports, a road mishap involving a truck carrying lecturers from Meda Wallabu University has already claimed the lives of 20 people.
15 University staff members reportedly perished in the accident while en route to the Shashemene campus to start teaching, according to sources.
Five of the 20 fatalities from this calamity, according to OBN, have already occurred.
According to Dr. Ibrahim Keleel, president of Med Walabu University, other accident survivors are being treated in the Adaba, Dodola, and Robe hospitals.
