Arnold Schwarzenegger’s son steps out showing his post-transformation physique

Arnold Schwarzenegger’s son’s weight-loss transformation has been in the spotlight since a family Christmas celebration last year.

Christopher Schwarzenegger, who began his weight-loss journey a few years ago, joined his family at the 2025 holiday dinner table. And the ones who have known him for a long time had every reason to be startled at his appearance.

He was spotted in dark grey pants, black leather sneakers, and a black sweater in the Instagram video posted by Arnold’s eldest daughter, Katharine Schwarzenegger. Christopher appeared leaner than ever in it.

Arnold’s eldest daughter, Katharine Schwarzenegger, shared a video of their get-together, in which her sister, Christina Schwarzenegger, was spotted hugging her brother-in-law, Chris Pratt.

In May 2025, he revealed the motivation behind his weight loss journey. During his appearance at Beacher Vitality Happy & Healthy Summit, he said, “I started in 2019 when I was living in Australia. I was on this big trip. I made it a big like, Oh, I’m going to go out and do all this stuff in Australia and I just saw how much my weight was prohibiting me from doing the everyday activities.”

Christopher Schwarzenegger also admitted that losing weight was not easy and it did not happen overnight. He still thinks he has more to achieve. He said, “When you’re saying, oh, before and after photos … I don’t feel like I’m an after yet. I don’t feel like I’m at the point”.

Arnold Schwarzenegger’s son gave a slight glimpse into his diet, saying in 2020 he gave up bread during Lent, a 40-day religious observance, and that doing so helped him lose 30lbs.

During his weight-loss journey, the bodybuilding legend Arnold Schwarzenegger admitted to indirectly supporting his son.

Arnold Schwarzenegger’s role in Christopher’s weight loss
Arnold is proud of his son and his determination. However, for him, it was tough to see his son struggling with weight throughout his childhood.

Still, the 7x Mr. Olympia never told Christopher directly anything about his weight. Once he admitted, “I could never go and say to him, ‘You’re overweight.'”

But, Arnold and his family helped indirectly by introducing Christopher to healthy foods, and Arnold admitted they “introduced him always to the gym and all of that kind of stuff.”

Now, while praising his son, the Austrian Oak said, “And then, out of nowhere, he decided that he wanted to be lean. And now he is…. So that is, of course, fantastic, the self-discipline and the self-motivation. I always felt one day it will have to come from him — and it did.”

So, don’t you think this is a motivational story?
