Julia Roberts Posts Hilarious Face Mask Pic Ahead of Golden Globes 2026: ‘Pre Game!’

Julia Roberts is sharing a laugh-out-loud behind-the-scenes look at her pre-carpet glam for the 2026 Golden Globes.

The After the Hunt nominee, 58, posted a photo of herself on Instagram hours before she was expected to hit the red carpet at the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles on Sunday, Jan. 11.

In the pic, the icon wore a sheet mask, which she topped off with a lip mask and her glasses. She captioned the headshot “Pre Game!

The hilarious headshot inspired comments from her longtime makeup artist Genevieve Herr, who wrote, “Love the lip color” as well as her stylist Elizabeth Stewart, who chimed in with “What lip color is that ?”

Ahead of the event, Roberts was one of the many celebs who had her skin prepped by celebrity facialist Keren Bartov. Bartov also gave facials to presenters such as Ana de Armas and Mila Kunis, nominees Kristen Bell and Robin Wright and many more.

Bartov, whose product line recently debuted in the U.S., used a number of her products in the treatments, among them the Coconut Cleanser, Advanced Skin Serum, Booster Peel + Glow Serum, Hydra Reboost Cream and the Hydration Glow Spray.

The glow Roberts got from the treatment showed, with the star beaming on the red carpet in her signature makeup, complete with a nude lip and glamorous waves courtesy of Serge Normant.

As for her fashion, Roberts chose a custom plunging Giorgio Armani Privé long-sleeve silk velvet gown with structured shoulders, which she accessorized with a black clutch, plus a statement necklace and ring on her right hand.

Roberts, who is also presenting tonight, has been nominated for 11 Golden Globes throughout her career. She won in 1990 for Steel Magnolias, in 1991 for Pretty Woman and in 2001 for Erin Brokovich.

In tonight’s Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Motion Picture – Drama category, she faces off against Jessie Buckley (Hamnet), Jennifer Lawrence (Die My Love), Renate Reinsve (Sentimental Value). Tessa Thompson (Hedda) and Eva Victor (Sorry, Baby).
