I went to HS with Tom Hanks. There were about 400 students in our senior class, and everybody loved Tom - he was funny, sweet, and so kind without being sappy. Years later, he and I (with our children) ran into each other at a dinosaur exhibit. We waved and kind of exchanged bemused looks as if to say, ‘Look, we’re grownups with little humans.’ It was a fun moment that didn’t last once he was recognized, but in true Tom fashion he was gracious and kind to everyone.

Not sure if he’s a celebrity, but Tyler Anderson (MLB pitcher) was a complete ahole in high school. I played softball, and he spent an entire year harassing me about female sports basically being bulls*ht and lame, and female athletes suck, and blah blah blah. I was really sad to see he made it to the bigs knowing what an utter douchebag he was.
