Three years after Suzanne Morphew’s puzzling disappearance and the subsequent dismissal of murder charges against her husband, Barry, the Morphew family has made the decision to end their prolonged silence and engage the public.
Barry is suspected of committing the heinous crime on Mother’s Day in 2020 in the town of Salida while Suzanne was out biking.
Barry was initially charged with his wife’s murder in May 2021.
The body of Suzanne has not been located despite a thorough search.
As a result of the district attorney’s office’s violation of the rules governing the sharing of evidence, the charges against Barry were dropped by the prosecution last year. Barry and his daughters are currently utilizing the opportunity to shed light on the issue.
Mallory and Macy Morphew, the deceased’s daughters, recently opened up in an interview about their mental health issues and the tragic effects the incident has had on their lives.

The Chaffee County Sheriff’s Office continues to be in charge of his property due to the ongoing investigation. The eleventh Judicial District Judge Linda Stanley, her staff, the sheriff’s office, the board of commissioners, Chaffee County, the Colorado Bureau of Investigation, and FBI agents are all specifically mentioned in the case.
